On October 29 we received a response from the Ombudsman to the complaint that we filed with the institution by the fact that the MARM and Reese will not send IPCENA and the Association of Friends, Residents and Neighbors in Torres Bishop of the "original document" of its draft Peñalba-The Electric Highway Arnero (Monsoon)-Isona, as well as all of our conflict against this mega-infrastructure . What was, however, our surprise when a few days ago we received a definitive answer to our complaint (assuming completion of the proceedings) and in which nothing more and nothing less than the Ombudsman denied the two executive range government documents that aportábamos, in which he made sure not to repeat the old route of the proposed power line Graus-Sallente (something we consider nothing short of surreal) and transmitted to us, moreover, the only argument offered by the Ministry Environment to implement the current proposed route of Highway Electrical Peñalba "The Arnero (Monsoon)-Isona, namely: the absence of social protest (which, obviously, as evidenced by the very existence of our platform is totally false).
face of such nonsense (which make us seriously consider what the real role of an "Ombudsman" which not only acts as a mediator in our conflict, but focuses its efforts simply to take for our complaint with arguments enclosed in an unsustainable rule of law) have decided to call a press conference to give a detailed response to the false arguments that has been shelved our complaint, publicly denounce this attitude regrettable and take the opportunity to convey to the public of our recent performances against the proposed Red Electrica of Spain that threatens our land.
The said press conference will take place tomorrow Wednesday 16 March at 17 hours at the headquarters of the High Aragon Aragonese (Costanilla Ricafort, 9, Netherlands) , with the participation of our spokesman in Aragón, José Ramón Doz, Jesus Sampériz (for Ecologists in Action of the area, members of our Platform) and Eduardo Pueyo (by the Aragonese, also a member of our Platform).
